![]() “ SAILING” TO PROVIDE FOOD
THESE ARE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING INVESTMENT OPERATIONS THAT WE HAVE IN SALDANHA BAY.
If you are interested in getting involved Contact us! We believe the time is now right to go back to smaller and more economical commercial Sailing Fishing Boats. Because of the event of diesel power, the Sailing trade and know how has also been lost, but now with the booming fuel crises and uneconomically large over sized and sophisticated steel Fishing Ships, the cost of catching fish is just sky rocketing and profits are down so most of the fishing company’s today are staring bankruptcy in the face. We have been propagating over the last 25 years that we should be designing boats and fishing methods on a smaller scale and using today's technology in hull and sail designs, but keeping the operation on the boat low tech and easily repairable especially for African waters. “Sail Fishing” especially lends itself to catching Long – Line deep sea Tuna, Swordfish and Shark. The complete operation can be done under Sail Power. THIS IS THE “SUPER5” (5METRES LONG) UNSINKABLE, BEACH LAUNCHABLE, DIESEL DRIVEN, SAILING & ROWING BOAT, ESPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR AFRICA.
